The summertime days are all about the sun, but in addition to the sun there are other sources of light (clouds, rain, and snow). It can be a bit annoying if you don’t have a good spot to be out in the sun, but for the most part, having the sun is a great thing. The sun helps us get our vitamin D needs met.
There are times when the sun can be a real headache. Like most people, I have this weird fear of being in the sun for more than a few minutes. I like to be indoors, but when it is still too warm to be inside, it can be quite unpleasant. It is true though that the sun does tend to be pretty good for our health.
Here’s a video from verdant light competitive that shows the benefits of a spot in the sun.
The problem is that we only really get sunlight when we are in the sun and, unfortunately, we don’t always have the sun to rely on. This is why I believe the human body has evolved certain ways to protect itself when it is in the sun. These ways are called photoprotection.
Photoprotection is the process of protecting the skin from exposure to the sun’s rays. As such, the human body has ways of adapting to the sunlight that allow us to stay healthy in the sun without worrying about being burned. As mentioned above, we need to rely on our bodies’ ability to protect itself from the sun’s rays. Photoprotection is why it is important to wear a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and sunscreen lotion.
The science of photoprotection is very complex. In general, people want to take advantage of the rays of the sun as much as possible. Photoprotection is a way of making it easier for your body to adapt to the suns rays. Basically, all we have to do is put on a sunscreen with a sun protection factor of at least SPF 30 or higher.
SPF 30 or higher is the minimum level of protection that should be worn on us before starting to walk outdoors. It is also the minimum amount of protection that is needed for the full spectrum of sunlight.
You may be wondering what that has to do with this post. Well, the point of this post, is to try to educate and empower you on the fact that most people in fact DO wear sunscreen. Just because you wear your sunscreen doesn’t mean that you will be protected from the sun’s rays. The sun’s rays are not only coming from the sun’s surface, they’re also coming from the inside of the earth.
Sun protection comes in the form of different types of anti-UV sunscreen, but the key thing is that we don’t need to wear it all the time, or even most of the time. Different parts of our bodies are best for different types of sunlight, and the way that different parts of our bodies absorb sunlight can vary from area to area. For example, the skin on our hands and fingers are better at absorbing UV rays than our skin on our face and our backs.
This is why we find ourselves in the shade in the spring and summer. In the heat though, we have to protect our skin from the sun and it can become dehydrated. We simply have to use different parts of our bodies for different types of sun for more protection from the sun. This is why we need to use sunscreen.
