Our dressers, closets, and cabinet doors are often the first things that we see in our homes. Like most people, I have a lot of choices when it comes to furniture, but I’ve found that light oak dressers are my favorite. There’s nothing wrong with a nice dresser in our homes.

I’m not a huge fan of “light oak dressers” as I find them to be a bit dull. But if you like good design and solid wood, this might be the dresser for you.

Forget the light oak dressers. For a more modern look, try a medium oak dresser with a solid finish in the same color as the dresser. Then, if you have a really nice dresser, pair it with some dark wood. The black walnut dresser is my favorite for a more modern look.
