I have been trying to light a match since I was 5. My mom taught me how to make them and I have been trying ever since.
Well, my mom still has a ton of matches on her kitchen counter. She also has a fire extinguisher and a fire starter, two tools that I’ve never actually used before. It’s like using those tools just isn’t high on my list.
Now that we’ve established this, I think I can finally get to the fun stuff. It’s almost as if I’m back to being a kid and trying to make matches at home, but there are some things you have to be careful not to screw up. The first one is that you have to touch the tip of the match to get it lit. If you don’t like the way it lights then it might not be a good match.
For starters, you have to try not to touch the tip of the match. If you do, then youll find that it becomes very difficult to see if the flame is lit. If you really do want to light the match, then you need a more secure way to do this. Thats where a paracord or a string would come very handy.
A paracord is an easily accessible conductor that is often found in the ends of household electrical cords. This means it is a little more secure. If you have a string it is not only easy to secure but you can also make it a bit more permanent. If you have a string, you could just wrap it around the end of the match and hold it in place using a rubber band. This is how we did it in the game, and it worked out well.
I thought it was a little bit more difficult than that. I’ve had many times come across a way we could do this that wasn’t quite as efficient. However, in the end, it all comes down to having tools. In the game, our tools are a paracord and a couple of small rubber bands. That is how we light our match.
It might not be the easiest way to light a match, but it is the most practical one. If you have just a little more time and space, you could try doing it without a string. Or, instead of the paracord, you could just use a rubber band. In any case, any method that works for once will work the second time.
If you really want the match to work, you can always just hit it with a hammer (or a brick) and a piece of paper. In the game, our matches are firecrackers, which, as you guessed, are the source of our light. If you want to make your match larger, you can just throw a bigger piece of paper on top of it.
If we are indeed on a time loop, then it is possible that the matches we use are actually controlled by some sort of clockwork to keep us on the right route. This would explain how I could use a match to light my match, which is in turn used to light the match I am using to light my other match. It also explains why it is possible to use a match to light a match with another match, which is something I learned from the game.
As you can imagine, this is a fairly new phenomenon and I don’t have any definitive answers on how it works yet. But that doesn’t stop me from experimenting and creating matches that light themselves.
