The mammary angiosarcomas can be primary arising de novo, or most frequently secondary to prior radiation therapy for breast carcinoma. ObservationsA 25-year-old man with a 10-year history of benign vascular growths developed 23 cutaneous vascular proliferations and systemic symptoms 5 days prior to presentation. Biopsy of the cutaneous lesions revealed a polypoidal proliferation of vessels consistent with cherry hemangiomata. Laboratory studies disclosed systemic abnormalities, and the findings of a subsequent lymph node biopsy confirmed MCD. Combination chemotherapy was initiated, and the cutaneous proliferations improved in association with the systemic disease.

Breast hemangioma presenting as a palpable tumor is a very rare clinical entity . We present here a very rare case of sinusoidal hemangioma of the breast in a postmenopausal patient with atypical imaging features that prompted surgical intervention. Diagnostic evaluation and management of the patient are discussed along with a review of the relevant literature.
Medical history was pertinent for several benign vascular growths beginning up to 10 years before presentation. In 2000, a varicocele was discovered, repaired surgically, and then revised after a bypass vessel grew around the surgical occlusion. During a 2002 ophthalmic examination, an ophthalmologist noted highly vascularized retinas. Two separate dermatologists incidentally noted mild inguinal lymphadenopathy in 2005 and 2010. A 2.5-cm sigmoid tubular colonic adenoma, noted as “highly vascularized” by pathological report, caused significant lower gastrointestinal tract bleeding in 2009.
No accompanying posterior acoustical shadowing was observed. The patient had an uncomplicated postoperative course. She is doing well, without any evidence of recurrence 29 months after surgery. Figure 4 Tumor consisting of numerous dilated vessels, some of which are exceptionally large. All the vessels have thin walls, with monolayered endothelium and without significant atypia. In the channel of some vessels, we can observe pseudopapillary projections .
